Marina Mania
When the hurricane blew through four years ago it left the Miners Marina in Micco, Florida in shambles. But, wait no more, because the emergence of the new Sebastian Inlet Marina is scheduled to open this June.
The 38,000 square foot marina is looking fantastic. Located north of the Sebastian bridge on the east side of US-1, the marina is built to stand a wind resistance of 140 miles per hour. This resistance should prevent any future catastrophes like the one with Miners Marina.
The 3 acre site will house 240 dry-storage slips and 25 floating, modern wet docks. Leasing options will be available for all boat owners. The marina will feature restroom and shower facilities, gas and diesel pumps, and a store. A captain’s lounge and recreation center are also available to those who choose to dock at the Sebastian Inlet Marina.
The new marina has boasted quite a lot of attention due to its ability to accommodate larger boats then the neighboring marinas in Ft. Pierce and Melbourne. Many people have already inquired about reserving slips at the new marina and there are well over 150 names on a list. To become part of the new Sebastian Inlet Marina, call 772/664-8500 or visit their website.

I am so happy to hear about the new marina near the Sebastian bridge. After so much destruction it’s great to know Sebastian is coming back strong!
